Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 28 April 2021: As part of its social commitment towards sustainable development, guided by the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed and the vision and directives of the Emirates’ leadership, Azizi Developments, a leading private developer in the UAE, has announced its collaboration with Saeed Association in sponsoring the Zayed Humanitarian Day, together with the UAE’s Ministry of Interior and Charitable Societies, whose theme for the year will be ‘Zayed Source of Giving.’
In his comments, Azizi Developments’ Founder and Chairman, Mr Mirwais Azizi, said: “Our sponsorship of the Zayed Humanitarian Day is part of our wide-ranging CSR efforts this year, as well as a projection of our love and respect for the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of our nation. We emulate his path while also keeping his vision of giving alive. This day marks a step towards the realisation of equal rights and the inclusion of everyone in the UAE. We will spare no effort to support the cause, and, in collaboration with Saaed Foundation, we will take this legacy forward.”
Mr Jamal Salem Abdullah Al Ameri, Brigadier and Executive Manager of Saaed Association, said: “Zayed Humanitarian Day is annually marked on the 19th of Ramadhan to pay tribute and respect to the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the nation. The objective of this day is to keep the spirit of philanthropy thriving, a trait Sheikh Zayed was well-known for globally. We are truly delighted to have Azizi Developments on board as one of our sponsors for this great event.”
This year, Saaed Association, in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior and organisations for People of Determination, is holding Zayed Humanitarian Day on the 2nd of May. The event will be held at Jumeirah Etihad Towers Hotel, Abu Dhabi and will progress upon the charitable legacy of the late founder HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan as a symbol of wisdom and goodness in the UAE and the region. The initiative is organised in collaboration with the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, Al Noor Center For Determined Ones, and Future Rehabilitation Center. Its goal is to reinforce social responsibility across all community sectors for those in need, predominantly for determined and orphaned ones.
