Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 7 September 2022: Azizi Developments, a leading private real estate developer in the UAE, has just acquired a highly coveted plot of land, located directly on Sheikh Zayed Road, from master developer Meydan. The signing ceremony was attended by the CEO of Meydan City Corporation, Mr Issam Galadari, Azizi Developments’ Founder and Chairman, Mr Mirwais Azizi, and its CEO, Mr Farhad Azizi, among other senior management figures of both organisations.
Plans for the land, which is situated in a prime location, adjacent to the World Trade Centre Metro Station 2, have not yet been made public. The developer is, however, already working on the design for the large iconic development that is to be built on the plot, which will comprise residential, hospitality and retail spaces.
Commenting on the acquisition, Mr Mirwais Azizi, Founder & Chairman of Azizi Developments, said: “This plot is located on Sheikh Zayed Road, the most important and iconic road in the UAE, named after the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the United Arab Emirates and its first President. With his visionary leadership, astounding foresight, and admirable determination, it fills us with immense pride to be developing a truly one-of-a-kind project on the road that carries his name and is a representation of his countless achievements. We will honour his legacy by developing a building that will be unlike anything that we – or anyone else for that matter – have ever built before, not only in the UAE, but beyond, in the entire world.”

Mobilisation is due to begin in the near future, with several activities happening on site as soon as this month.
